Automatic lessons are for individuals who find it difficult or prefer not to worry about changing gears and clutch control. This is a great option for them to pass more easily and comfortably – but this has it’s limitations; if you pass on an automatic, after your test you will only be able to drive automatic transmission cars.
Manual lessons are one of the most popular and standard options for learners as this allows them to gain confidence in driving and allowing them to be comfortable with gear change and clutch control. Drivers who pass on manual transmissions are able to drive both automatic and manual cars once passed.
