Blackpool’s roads are flat, which helps new drivers, but they’re busy. The promenade has trams, heavy visitor traffic in the season and lots of pedestrians, and the town has multi-lane junctions and large roundabouts towards the M55.
We start on quieter residential streets, build up to town traffic and the promenade, then practise the roads around the test centre near the airport.
